  • Password protected the first two directories, to increase the difficulty of hacking the game.

Little Changes & Changed Level 7

  • Made small changes to the title page and the ending page.
  • Added a layer to Level 7. The level was too easy to begin with, and the new layer will help people understand level 8, I think.

Pretty Much Finished

  • Invented, created, and uploaded new levels 23, 24, and 25, including directory change, which is pretty exciting.
  • Ergo, stopped banking on the previously written fact and breathed a sigh of relief.
  • Made a pretty "completion" page. :)
  • Fixed picture on Level 6. It only loaded half-way on the new server. o.O
  • Added new files for Level 8 and Level 19, to make it easier for people to get the answers.

RELEASE!

  • Released the Test to the St. John's Annapolis world at large.
  • Changed the layout (and a very tiny bit of the content) of the title page.
  • Began banking on the fact that nobody will get to Level 23 before I have the time to create a Level 23, Level 24, AND Level 25. :P

LEONENESS!

  • Transfered all levels currently on the test onto a new domain name AND new server: http://www.leoneness.com/ The new setup costs me less than the old one by about $30 a year. So that's cool. :)
  • Added a "Freshman Levels" header page in between the index.html page and Level 1.
  • Also, made small changes to the "index.html" page as befit the change in domain name and other small things.
  • Fixed problem with picture name in Level 9. New server will not allow capitals, so I made it more clear on the index.html page.

Brand new level

  • Added 2-part level 22. Level 22.1 and 22.2 — you go get'em!

Another new level

  • Level 21: made and uploaded. Have fun, if anyone gets to it.

New Cooler Pic

  • New picture for level 18. Awesomely cooler (taken with my phone) and sweet. Also changed the title, to make it less obvious what the theme was.
  • Updated main page.

Redirect

  • New level 20 + directory redirect. For added security, of course. :P o.O
  • Changed redirect time to level 11. By 1 second. Not a big deal, just thought I'd write it down here. Since I did change it. Mhmmmmm.

Tripartite level

  • Added new level 19. Three parts. Don't be freaked out. They shouldn't be THAT hard once you get the idea of them.
  • Changed one word in source for level 15.
  • Fixed spelling in picture for level 15.

New Level

  • New level 18. Good stuff.
  • No other changes, really.

Email link and stuff

  • Added email link to the bottom of levels 1-9, so frustrated puzzlers can email me with questions.
  • Changed source slightly for level 8. Hopefully it's not too obvious. The level was evil enough as it was. Maybe too obscure and bizarre.
  • Also fixed source for level 3. Was planning on doing that for awhile.

New level! Yay!

  • Added: New level 17! (Fun to make, hopefully not too hard to understand...)

Friday, January 30, 2009

Minor Changes

  • Updated source clues for levels 4 and 6 and title for level 6.
  • New picture for level 12. More specific and better background (I think, anyway...)
  • Changed title for level 8 slightly. Hardly noticeable.

  • Minor changes on other levels.
Also, as another note about this blog, feel free to comment on the test here. Please keep spoilers out of your comments, however.

First Test Status Report/Intro

I'll be using this blog as a developer's log for the online test/puzzle I'm developing. All the levels are themed after the St. John's College of Annapolis campus and program and social life and stuff. The test is located here: http://www.leoneliterature.com/ALSJAT/ Go there if you want to try it out. I can't say that I recommend it for anyone but Johnnies, but you may be able to get through a few levels. Maybe. o.O

Today's log:
  • Levels 1-15 up and running, with subdirectory redirect at level 11.
  • New level 4 created. Old level discarded. Too convoluted for level 4. May use concept later.

To do:
  • Correct spelling and make clue more clear for level 12's picture.
  • Think of more levels.
  • Do homework.
